HVAC diagnostic: $99.95. Your technician reviews the estimate with you. You can approve it on the spot or later through a link to the estimate.

Financing is available through Service Finance Company, LLC, subject to credit approval. See terms when you apply. Ask about our maintenance memberships.

Xcel rebates may apply. We confirm current amounts with your quote. Xcel rebates apply to Xcel customers only; some addresses south and west of Denver are served by IREA. IREA serves parts of Douglas County, so check which utility is on your bill before counting on an Xcel rebate. Xcel’s central AC rebates ended for invoices dated after Jan 1, 2024, and the federal 25C credit doesn’t cover equipment placed in service after 2025. Programs change without notice. Eligibility is confirmed at quote. Checked Nov 2026.

Equipment Rules for a Parker HVAC Replacement

  • Efficiency minimums: Colorado is in the federal North region: split AC 13.4 SEER2; split heat pump 14.3 SEER2 and 7.5 HSPF2.
  • Low-NOx furnaces: New gas furnaces and water heaters sold in Colorado since Jan 1, 2026 must meet ultra-low-NOx limits (or be ENERGY STAR). Repairing your existing furnace isn’t affected.
  • Refrigerant: Existing R-410A systems can legally be repaired. EPA rules affect new equipment, and most new systems use R-454B or R-32.
  • Altitude: Gas furnaces are set up to the manufacturer’s high-altitude instructions for the model you choose.
  • Heating load: Denver-area normals run about 5,863 heating degree days a year against 849 cooling degree days (NOAA 1991-2020, Denver International Airport), so the heating side sets most sizing choices.

Town of Parker Permits and Codes for HVAC

The Town of Parker Building Division (20120 E. Mainstreet) lists furnace replacements and air conditioner installs or replacements as work that needs a permit. All permit applications are handled online through the town’s eTRAKiT portal. As your contractor, we apply and schedule the inspection. (Town of Parker, checked Nov 2026.)

Parker had the 2024 International codes in effect as of June 30, 2026, plus the 2025 Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code. On the electrical side, Parker stays on the 2023 National Electrical Code through Dec 31, 2026 and moves to the 2026 NEC on Jan 1, 2027. Under the 2023 NEC, new outdoor AC and heat pump equipment needs code-required GFCI protection since Sept 1, 2026. (Checked Nov 2026; recheck January 2027.)

HVAC for Parker Addresses in Unincorporated Douglas County

Some homes with a Parker mailing address sit outside town limits in unincorporated Douglas County. Their permits come from the Douglas County Building Division in Castle Rock, which moved to the 2024 ICC codes on July 1, 2026. We confirm which office governs your address before we quote.
  • Inside Town of Parker limits (for example Pine Valley near Riva Ridge Park and Pioneer Elementary): Town of Parker Building Division, eTRAKiT. Building codes: 2024 I-codes. Electrical code: 2023 NEC to Dec 31, 2026; 2026 NEC from Jan 1, 2027.
  • Parker address in unincorporated Douglas County: Douglas County Building Division, Castle Rock. Building codes: 2024 ICC codes since July 1, 2026. Electrical code: 2023 NEC; newer NEC from Jan 1, 2027.
